For / Candidates
You received a scout message from AgentRPO, maybe today, maybe last week, and you're here because you want to know who we are and whether this is worth your time. Short answer: you're in control. Nothing obligates you to respond. But if you do respond, here's exactly what the experience looks like.
Our commitments to you
If you've been scouted before, you probably know the routine: a vague message, a pushy recruiter, a meeting that turns out to be about a different role than advertised. We do it differently, because the best candidates won't put up with any of that, and those are the candidates our clients hire.
We don't send generic 'amazing opportunities in Japan.' Every message names the actual company, the actual role, and the reason we thought of you specifically. If you want a Japanese or English version of the JD, you'll have it within 24 hours.
We never submit your résumé to anyone without your explicit written go-ahead. We never tell a current employer or a past colleague that you're exploring anything. You can pause, withdraw, or change your mind at any point, no hard feelings.
You'll speak with a recruiter, not a chatbot. Our recruiters are native or near-native in Japanese and English, have 5-20+ years of experience, and will actually know your industry. The AI does the sourcing. Real humans do the conversation.
What happens if you reply
Here's exactly what the process looks like from the moment you reply. If anything goes differently, tell your recruiter and we'll fix it on the spot.
20-30 minutes, video or phone. We share full details of the role, your recruiter explains what they know about the hiring team, and you ask whatever you want.
After the call, you decide if you want to explore further. If no: we stop, full stop. If yes: you share a CV and we move to the next step.
Before every interview, you get a written brief from your recruiter: who you're meeting, their background, what they're likely to ask, and the key topics to land on.
If an offer comes, we help you negotiate compensation, navigate counter-offers, plan your resignation, and prepare for Day 1, not just until signing, but through the first few weeks.
Whether you join this company or not, we keep a confidential record of your career goals. Two or five years from now, when the right role appears, we'll reach out first.
Data & privacy
We operate under Japan's APPI (個人情報保護法) and a paid-placement recruiting license (13-ユ-319155). Your profile is never sold, licensed, or shared outside of active, consented searches on your behalf.
You can request deletion of your records at any time by emailing privacy@executivesearch.ai. We'll confirm deletion within 14 days.
Read the full privacy policy for details on what we collect, how we store it, and your rights under Japanese law.
